Amazing photographer and photography! Our friend recommended Derek to us as our wedding photographer. From the frist time we met him he made us feel as ease. Derek is so passionate about his work and it shows in every picture. He's such an awesome guy and the packages he offers are just fantastic! Everyone that has seen our pictures, both engagement and wedding have all commented on how amazing they are. If you are looking for a photographer, look no further as Derek is just brilliant!

First Class Photography!

I always knew that choosing a wedding photographer would be important and I had a clear idea that I wanted very natural pictures as well as the usual family shots. When my mum recommended Derek, who she had worked with on previous weddings I was excited to see the pictures and I wasn't dissapointed! Our initial meeting was friendly but professional, Derek is very passionate about his job and you can tell when he is speaking to you that the quality of your photographs means as much to him as you! The complimentary engagement shoot was fantastic, as like most people neither of us enjoyed getting our photo taken. It helped us feel at ease and helped us stay more relaxed on our wedding day. I can honestly say our wedding pictures are the most beautiful I have ever seen, the fact that I didnt realise about 60% of the pictures were being taken tells you how discreet Derek was on the day. He made us feel very relaxed and was so accommadating with our guests when they wanted to take pictures. I have watched our picture DVD at least 20 times and I only got it last week! it truly is a story of the day and only further demonstrates Derek's immense talent as a photographer!

Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into making our wedding so special. We could not be happier with our photos and are delighted we have such a beautiful record of our day.

“Amazing photographer.

Derek was the most wonderful photographer from beginning to end! He was friendly, professional and thorough without getting in the way of our special day – he also helped us to relax a heck of a lot (something that was quite difficult in the minutes before the wedding ceremony). It also really helped Nic and I to have the e-session before the wedding so we could get to grips with being in front of a camera and not be as nervous on our wedding day (after all, we had enough to be nervous about!). Once we received the wedding pictures and DVD, there were lots of tears of happiness as we very fondly remembered the wonderful day.

Having been married almost a year, we still get comments about how beautiful our pictures were and that is thanks to Derek. Couldn’t recommend anyone more than him!

Absolutely fantastic!!

Derek is a truly outstanding photographer who is immensely talented. Our wedding photographs are beautiful and so special. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and a large part of that can be attributed to Derek. Although ours was a small wedding Derek gave it the same care and attention that he would have given a far more lavish affair. We really appreciated his professionalism and good humour. Neither of us really like having our photos taken but Derek really put us at ease and we actually enjoyed it! All who have seen our photos have been unequivocal in their admiration with many claiming that they are the best wedding photos they've ever seen. Absolutly amazing! We found derek over the internet by sheer luck! I have never met such a nice guy, he put everyone at ease. It didnt really feel like he was having to work as he didn't crowd you all day but still got unbelievable pics. Everybody commented on how nice he was he totally made our day! I couldnt recommend him more if i tried. We left it up to him to put our album together and it was perfect actual made my mum cry. He totally went out of his way to help with wedding stuff that wasnt to do with pics like getting kirbys for my hair it was so funny!! I would give him hundereds of stars if i could!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We just got our photo album back and are absolutely delighted with it. Its in the style of a book and really tells the story from start to finish. All of Dereks work shows attention to detail and there was not one photo we didn't like. In fact we found it so hard picking our favourite photos for the album that we had to have all of them in it. We would highly recommend Derek to capture your special occasions, not just weddings.

Best Wedding Photographer!

Derek photographed our wedding in May 2009 and produced some really stunning shots. We have an album which really tells the story of the day with lots of photos of guests and family as well as ourselves, which was exactly what we wanted. I would definately recommend him, everything he did for us was perfect and we could not have asked for more.
