Q: What sets you apart from other photographers?
Honestly, I think it comes down to a deep respect for the day you’ve planned. Many photographers treat a wedding like a 10-hour photoshoot, but I’ve always believed that the wedding isn't about the photographs, the photographs are about the wedding. I feel incredibly lucky to have been doing this since 2009 with 800+ weddings shot.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to become a preferred photographer at many wonderful venues, and being highly recommended by wedding planners is something I never take for granted. I’m truly grateful for that trust as it allows me to work seamlessly with their teams to make sure your day flows exactly as you envisioned it.
My goal is to be a helpful part of your day—melting into the background for those candid hugs, but stepping up to lead the family shots or confetti so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
Q. Can we print and share our wedding photos ourselves?
Absolutely! Every collection includes a digital download with a full print and share license. This means you have total freedom to print your favorite moments and use your private online gallery to share the joy with family and friends as often as you like.
Q. How many photographers will be there at our wedding?
I work solo mostly to stay discreet and capture the genuine, unposed energy of your day. I rarely find a second shooter necessary, but you can easily add one for larger celebrations or multiple prep locations. Please ask for more info.
Q: How long until we receive our photos?
You can expect your full gallery in 4-6 weeks. However, I love to share a few previews within 24 hours—usually that same evening. I often edit a few sneak peeks while you’re enjoying your wedding breakfast, so they’re ready for you before the day is even over.
Q: Do you have a list of preferred videographers to use?
I’d love to recommend some of talented videographers I work with regularly. Since we share the same space all day, having great chemistry is vital for a smooth, relaxed celebration. I’m happy to recommend those whose style and unobtrusive workflow complement mine perfectly.
Q: Is travel included for UK weddings?
Absolutely. Any wedding within a 2.5-hour drive of Edinburgh is included in your collection price. For celebrations further afield, a flat fee of £250 covers all my travel and accommodation, ensuring there are no hidden costs or extra logistics for you to manage.
Q: Do you photograph destination weddings?
Yes! I’ve shot two destination weddings with more already booked in. I’d be delighted to create a custom wedding collection to suit your travel needs.
Q: Are the people featured on your site models?
No! Every couple you see is a real client at a real wedding. I only feature genuine work because I want you to see exactly how I capture the real spirit and unplanned moments of a celebration.
Q: Do we have a chat about photography nearer the wedding day?
Definitely. I will be in touch around 4–8 weeks before the big day to walk through your timeline and preferences. This ensures every detail is relaxed and well organised so you can stay fully present and enjoy your celebration while I capture the story.
Q: How do we reserve our wedding date?
A signed contract and a £400 booking fee secures your date on my calendar. The remaining balance is simply due one month before the big day.

Absolutely, your peace of mind is a priority! I want you to know that I am fully insured, ensuring that every aspect of your wedding day photography is covered. This includes protection for equipment, liability, and unforeseen circumstances. Rest assured, you're in good hands, and your memories are safeguarded
