I am a professional wedding photographer based in Dalkeith, just outside Edinburgh but cover most of Central Scotland. I am also willing to travel if so requested. Next year I will be photographing weddings from the Scottish Borders up to St Andrews and quite a few places in between. To me, the most important part of your day is not the photographer but the fact that you are both actually getting married. I will be there to take photographs of all those candid, sweet, happy moments that can't help but happen on such an emotional and happy day. Your Wedding day is one of the most important days of your lives and you want to remember it as it happened, not as someone placed you standing. Of course family group shots are provided as these are the centrepiece of your wedding album. All of the family together for maybe one of those rare occasions. These wedding photographs are just as important as those candid shots. My moto has always been to provide my clients with: "A movie of your day, told in pictures." I also offer every couple a free Engagement Session or E-Session as it's known which can be taken anytime between booking your wedding photography and the wedding itself. This session is completely free and includes all the finished photographs from the session on a CD for you to print and share with family and friends. I also provide a DVD slideshow of the session at no extra cost. Why? You may ask. The E-Session is a really fun way for us to get to know each other, have a giggle and provide you with some amazing photographs. Depending on the location of the wedding we may head to the venue to have a look around and come up with ideas for the wedding day itself. This is usually possible if the Wedding is in Edinburgh or surrounding areas like, East Lothian or West Lothian etc. It really is a fun afternoon.
